Master of Science in Electronics Engineering (MSEE)

Completion of the Master of Science in Electronics Engineering degree requires 36 credit hours, depending on the concentration selected. Students may be eligible to transfer up to 8 hours from previous graduate study.

Degree Options:

Students who apply for graduate degree must finish
  • 12-18 concentration courses
  • 12-18 elective and learn-by-doing courses
  • Optional Master Project or Thesis

BACKGROUND COURSES

Prerequisite Courses: The MSEE program requires prospective students have electronics engineering or computer engineering backgrounds. If a student has a weaker electronics engineering background, she or he will be required to take up to 5 undergraduate prerequisite courses in order to ensure preparation to handle the rigors of the Master of Science in Electronics Engineering. The number of prerequisite courses will be determined upon evaluation of transcripts and other supporting documents submitted during the admissions process. Electronics Engineering Graduate Degree provides 4 concentration areas, each concentration area requires different pre-requisite courses.

CONCENTRATIONS

MSEE degree requires a minimum of 36 semester units of graduate study. Each concentration has its own pre-requisite courses.
